SNAANA

SNAANA

SNAANA means not merely washing oneself with water to clean or deodorize your skin. It has an another meaning -which is a state of mind, which is superior to all the bath, says BRAHMA. That bath which is the state of mind is with out desires-desireless state of mind.

Even desireless state of mind in vedanta means only deification of the world. It doesn’t ,mean denounce of the world. You can open your eyes and enjoy everything but see God in the all the things in the world. The whole world is full of the Lord. If you can worship God through a clay image, then why can’t you see God in everything. We need all the three aspects- 1) Dvaita ( You and God (cosmos) is different 2) Advaita ( You and God ( cosmos) are not separated but appears to be so) 3) Visishtadvaita ( You are part of God ( cosmos), but you are different from it) All the three concepts of vedanta are not contradictory but complementary.

Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya* Namo Buddhaya
